I have tried to post on your site Dave, with no joy. I think this is due to my incompetence rather than any thing else. Please do not give up posting we enjoy reading them over here, that applies to Lizzie as well.I still haven’t forgotten our exchange agreement but I would imagine by now that you have with drawn from your side especially as Alex is now a lovely little boy and not a screaming baby. I have just been looking at pictures of him and he is growing up so fast, its hard to think that he will soon be a year old.
We hope you will be back home before we come over and then we can maybe meet up with you all [ I am bringing a bigger case this year just in case you change your mind]

I have now got my computer in the spare bedroom which we have converted to the office. This meant a major move of furniture and a good clear out of the junk that had accumulated. I have more or less finished now but I am afraid Chris still as quite a bit to do.I hope that my idea will work out ok as I had become a bit of a computer widow down stairs. I still have my lap top to work on down stairs if I want but at the moment its refusing to connect to the inter-net, so thats a job for this evening.

It was 3 tickets to go and see Tecni colour Dream coat at the theater in Manchester. We went for a meal first at an Italian restaurant which was fantastic and a must to go again.I even managed to find quite a few dishes that I could eat.
Thank you Andy for a great time, I really did enjoy it and don’t mind doing it every year, it certainly brightens up the drab winter months.

It started to snow yesterday so we stayed in and kept warm and amused ourselves watching cars coming up the hill, past the house and 10 seconds later come sliding back down. This morning the roads were much better so it was back to normal work routine for us both.
By lunch time it was snowing again and now the road is just about closed and we have a white out. I love this time of year.
We still have a hole in the roof as no one as even been out to look at it yet.

Today we went for a hike in the hills above Conwy. Wild horses couldnt stop us. It was sunny and warm with frost on the ground and the company couldn’t have been better

I have a patch on. I have sweets to hand. I ave dried apple pieces in a dish by my side and I also have [no laughing please] a cinnamon stick to suck on. I read about this on a web page about hints and tips to help you quit. The idea is that you have some thing that is like a cigarette to hold, you can put it in your mouth and it tastes pleasant. It sounds crazy but it does help a little.
So heres to a smoke free future.
Yesterday 4 other people that are close to me said they are giving up as well. We are all trying different ways . Lets see who wins. ME, ME, ME.
