Accident
Thursday evening Chris found a young lad about 8yrs. old laid on the grass out side our house. He had crashed his bike in to a wall and come off. His brother had moved him out of the road and gone for Mum and Dad, who were out shopping. We put a bandage on his badly cut knee and checked him over for more serious injuries before helping him in to our car and taking him home. When his Mum saw him she sent for the ambulance as he was in a bad way.
Yesterday the family came to see us with a bunch of flowers and a box of chocs as a thank you. The little boy was with them covered in cuts and a couple of bandages over the bad ones and stitches in his knee but otherwise he had made a full recovery. No doubt he will be back on his bike next week but I hope he wears his crash helmet next time or he might not be so lucky.
